Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 May 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ColourMe and Color Me In ("we", "us", and "our") collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you use our websites, upload tools, digital colouring studio, checkout flow, digital downloads, printed products, and support services (together, the "Service").

We are based in New South Wales, Australia and handle personal information in line with applicable Australian privacy principles where they apply. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Service.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, account details, order details, support messages, delivery information, uploaded photos, selected styles, generated colouring pages, draft artwork, promotion codes, and any other information you choose to submit.

We do not intentionally collect full payment card numbers. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe, which may provide us with limited payment metadata such as payment status, transaction IDs, billing details, and fraud signals.

We may also collect technical and usage information automatically, including IP address, device and browser details, approximate location derived from IP address, pages visited, actions taken, timestamps, error logs, upload and generation logs, cookies or similar identifiers, and security or fraud-prevention signals.

3. Photos, Children, and Sensitive Content

The Service is commonly used with family photos and photos of children. You must only upload photos where you have the right and consent to do so. Uploaded photos may reveal personal information, including appearance, relationships, location, events, school uniforms, health context, or other sensitive details.

We use uploaded photos and generated outputs to provide the Service, generate colouring pages, create previews, support digital colouring, fulfil orders, provide support, prevent abuse, and comply with law. We do not sell uploaded photos.

4. How We Use Personal Information

  • to upload, store, transform, and generate colouring pages from photos;
  • to create, process, fulfil, and deliver digital and printed orders;
  • to process payments, apply promotions, prevent fraud, and manage disputes;
  • to send order confirmations, account notices, support replies, service updates, and safety messages;
  • to troubleshoot errors, maintain reliability, analyse usage, and secure the platform;
  • to enforce our Terms & Conditions, acceptable-use rules, and content safety requirements; and
  • to comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

5. Third-Party Services and Disclosure

We share personal information only where reasonably necessary to operate the Service, fulfil orders, protect users, comply with law, or support our business operations. Service providers may process information for us, including:

  • Supabase: Authentication, database, and file storage.
  • Stripe: Payment processing.
  • Google / Replicate: AI image processing and generation.
  • Vercel or hosting providers: Website hosting, serverless functions, logs, and deployment.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts, payment networks, law enforcement, child safety organisations, or other parties where required or reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud, or security reasons.

6. International Transfers

Our service providers may store or process personal information outside New South Wales and outside Australia, including in the United States, the European Union, or other locations where they operate infrastructure. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to provider safeguards and applicable law.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Local Storage

We may use cookies, browser storage, local device storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember session state, save drafts, support uploads, improve performance, measure usage, and protect the Service. Some features may not work properly if these technologies are disabled.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Service, fulfilling orders, maintaining records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and abuse, meeting legal obligations, and improving the platform.

Drafts, raw uploads, generated files, previews, and digital colouring data may expire or be deleted under storage, retention, or account policies. Some limited records may be kept for longer where needed for legal, tax, accounting, security, dispute, or fraud-prevention purposes.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted transport, provider security controls, logging, and operational monitoring. However, no internet transmission, AI processing pipeline, payment workflow, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law, including where information must be retained for legal, security, fraud, dispute, backup, or order-record reasons.

11. Marketing Communications

We may send service-related communications such as receipts, order updates, security notices, and support responses. Where we send optional marketing, you can opt out using the unsubscribe method provided or by contacting us.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another relevant privacy regulator.
