Photos that work
Clear daylight and one main subject give the outline something solid to follow. A child on a porch, a dog on grass, or a bicycle against a fence usually reads well. Faces need enough light that eyes, hair, and shoulders stay distinct. If you have to squint at the original, the coloring page will be harder too.

Photos that struggle
Dark rooms, busy birthday tables, and heavy filters hide the edges the line-art step needs. Group photos can work when two or three people are close and well lit. They struggle when many faces are small or overlapping. Crop first. Remove signs, uniforms, and house numbers you do not want printed.

One page or a whole book

When a page or book is ready, Color Me In emails a PDF. That usually happens within a few hours if a page needs review. Open the file and check the outline on a screen. Print a test copy if you want to see how the lines look on paper. Do not promise anyone a finished page for a specific hour. Keep the PDF if you may want another copy later.
